The all-male class has been without the Motor Mechanics lecturer since January 17, after the teacher left the job.As a result, the students were left on their own, not having any classes to attend and the administrator not paying them ‘no mind’.Their enquiries brought hardship with them being assigned to digging holes for garbage, plucking chicken and weeding during the heat of the day.They got a few days reprieve when they were offered Mathematics and English classes. However for reasons unknown, the Mathematics teacher left the job along with one of the two Social Workers.The students have since been forced to return to digging holes, weeding, plucking chicken and other odd janitorial jobs. If any non-selected person wants to be involved, he will have to swap his six weeks on the job training.A senior official in the Ministry stated that he was not familiar with the situation, but promised to launch an immediate investigation.
