The Numurkah community can look to the long term with confidence, after the Victorian Government confirmed $18.3million for a new hospital in its budget last week.
It has supplied urgent emergency care and sub acute services via temporary relocatable buildings located on the first car park since the floods.

The hospital's chief executive Jacque Phillips said the new hospital would be contemporary plus flood proof.

''This is a wonderful win for Numurkah.''
Health Minister David Davis said the health national infrastructure included the budget, for native areas, was part of construction works worth more than $4billion previously underway with help from the us govenment.
