"I taught art, dance, drama there, but that position ended, so i used to teach sixth grade, so I wanted to teach 6 grade again," he was quoted saying. "I am looking forward to the ability to incorporate all the subjects and just function as a small team."
Superintendent Teresa Williams enjoyed her first day. The woman took over from Ellen Smith, exactly who retired.
"Everything has gone very, very smoothly," she said. "The biggest issue was can be of school traffic, but parents were very cautious using their driving and people got to exactly where they needed to be."
