A teenager from Buxton was yesterday charged for the 2005 murder of Franklyn Talbot, called “Cochore”.The teen made his court appearance before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson, without any family or social services representation. He was not required to plead since the charge was indictable.He was remanded to police custody and is expected to make his next court appearance on February 5. The matter was also transferred to the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court.The teen had admitted to killing Buxton resident Franklyn Talbot after he was picked up by police in a raid on Saturday.Talbot, who was the stepfather of Teneisha Morgan, the reputed mother of Rawlins’s child, was defaced after his body was riddled with bullets.The teen has also been linked to now dead gang leader Rondell “Fine Man” Rawlins. He has also confessed to several robberies.The teen is also a relative of dead Buxton wanted man, Orlando Andrews, called “Bullet”, who was killed by the Joint Services ranks in October 2007.
