| The body of nine-year-old, Kadir Doodnauth, of Palmyra, Canje Berbice, was found early yesterday morning hanging from a guava tree in his backyard.Reports are that the child’s body was discovered around 10:20 hours by his grandfather. The child was found with a piece of rope tied around his neck hanging from the tree. This newspaper was reliably informed that the child was seen playing in the back yard earlier in the morning while his parents were in another part of the yard.After realising the child, who was at the back of the yard seemed too silent, his grandfather went to check on him. It was at this point the gruesome discovery was made. The police were immediately summoned to the area by which time the child appeared to be dead.The child’s body was taken to the New Amsterdam Hospital to await a post mortem examination. Meanwhile, sources close to the investigation say they have ruled out foul play since from all indications the child may have accidentally taken his own self while playing on the tree.Meanwhile, the relatives of four-year-old, Muneshwar Rambarat, called Raju, are praying that all will be well as he is unconscious in the Georgetown Public Hospital.Yesterday, at about 10:30hrs, Ravina Rambarat, his mother, found him hanging from a hammock rope in the yard of their lot 4 Best Village home.Inez Prasad, his grandmother, amidst tears, recounted that he woke up about 5:30hrs and began playing in the yard up until about 10:00hrs.“Me hear he mother calling Raju, Raju, Raju and he nah answer then me hear she start holler and when me come outside me see she hold he up and take he out from the rope round he neck”.The teary-eyed woman said that her immediate reaction was to grab a bucket of water and drench the toddler to revive him but that did not work. “He nuh been move and when she cradle um and carry he out the yard he make a li’l cry and then fall unconscious again,” the woman said.He was rushed to the West Demerara Regional Hospital but was subsequently transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was admitted and according to his grandmother,http://www.theworldsoccersshop.com/Argentina-Facundo-Roncaglia-Jersey.html, remains unconscious.The hammock was still hanging under the house when this publication visited the home.
