| Scores of persons flocked the streets of Georgetown yesterday to get a glimpse of the annual Children’s Costume Parade.It was a bright, sunny day and the children were all decked out in their very colourful and interesting costumes. There were eagles, the rainbow and Guyana’s flora.Although one might have been captivated mostly by the colours of the floats and costumes, and the adorable look of the children, the messages were still well received.The common message behind all of the floats was “Love and harmony as one people”.
