Valley trio thriving by hockey academy experience
A couple of valley hockey players leaped amazingly at the chance to develop their skills as elite 12-15 year olds in the inaugural period of Pacific Coast Baseball Academy's Minor Midget U16 team, based in Victoria.

The players many feel great about the progress they're making.
"A lot of development,'' explained Faustino. "I've probably been on the ice more than two seasons.''

"I feel like I've gotten a great deal stronger, faster overall,'' said Bissett. "Development's been good.''
The guys have also enjoyed some great activities with the team, including travels to Littleton, Colorado, just outside of Denver, and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
